Chris “Camel” Chmiel is a passionate and highly engaging speaker who loves sharing his lessons from the elite world of the fighter pilot. He will have your team ready to take off and operate at the speed of sound!
Having joined the Air Force 23 years ago, Camel has flown over 2,000 missions in fighter jets and is still serving in the Air Force today. He has lived, travelled, and worked across Australia and the globe, including two combat deployments. In Afghanistan, he flew an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in support of Army troops in the fight against the Taliban, and later deployed to Iraq to fly the F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet in the fight against ISIS.
His passion and talent for inspiring high performance has seen him spend six years training and coaching the junior fighter pilots of the Royal Australian Air Force. When not in the cockpit, he has been responsible for leading the planning of several large multinational Defence Force exercises.
As a speaker, Camel brings the lessons and knowledge from this broad experience, making it relevant to everyone who is trying to get things done and be happy along the way.
