Rob Lilwall motivational speaker sessions come from an ordinary person who, through taking an adventurous attitude to life, has achieved the extraordinary. Over the last two decades, he has covered more than 70,000 km by bicycle and on foot. As a result, he now helps organisations think more like adventurers when facing rapid change.

Rob trained as a geography teacher at Oxford University and taught at Larkmead School in Abingdon. In 2004, he left his job and flew to Magadan in Siberia with his bicycle, named Alanis after singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette. He then spent three years cycling home, crossing Siberia and the Gobi Desert in winter, China, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, America, Europe, Australia and Iran.
National Geographic made two television series about his adventures. In addition, Rob is the author of two books, “Cycling Home From Siberia” and “Walking Home From Mongolia.” As a keynote speaker, he has inspired tens of thousands of people at hundreds of top companies worldwide, including Nike, Adidas, Microsoft, Google, Disney, Marriott, HSBC, Goldman Sachs and Heineken.
