Book Dr Tiffany De Sousa Machado for Your Next International Event
Dr Tiffany De Sousa Machado, widely known as Dr Tiff, has built her career translating rigorous psychological research into wellbeing strategies that organisations can genuinely put into practice, rather than initiatives that look good on paper but change very little in the day to day reality of working life and modern teams under pressure.
She holds a PhD in business and psychology and currently serves as Head of Wellbeing and Development at drtiff.com.au and The Village Foundation, alongside her academic role as Lecturer and Associate Head of People and Culture at the Adelaide Business School, University of Adelaide. Dr Tiff’s work spans addressing leaders at some of Australia’s largest organisations and universities, supporting women facing complex barriers to employment through her involvement with the GOGO Foundation, and delivering her signature Transformative Wellbeing program, which has consistently produced strong, measurable results across every audience she has worked with. Her recognition includes being named a 2022 Westpac Social Change Fellow and a 2017 Westpac Future Leader, credentials that reflect the genuine depth of impact behind her work.
At a moment when record sums are being invested in workplace wellbeing initiatives with disappointing returns, Dr Tiff offers a genuinely compelling answer to the question so many leaders are asking: why isn’t it working? Her research points to a missing ingredient in most programs, a genuine focus on self-directed, individualised wellbeing, where people are equipped and trusted to shape the strategies that work best for them rather than being handed a one-size-fits-all solution imposed from the top down. A session with Dr Tiff gives organisations access to evidence-based tools, a warm and engaging presenting style, and a practical framework that leaders and teams can put into practice immediately, long after the applause has faded.
