About Brooke Hanson keynote speaker

Brooke Hanson keynote speaker sessions come from an Olympic gold and silver medallist who helps people live and work with purpose. Brooke first swam for Australia at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. She went on to represent her country more than 25 times at major international championships. Yet the Olympics kept slipping away. She missed two Olympic teams before finally reaching the Athens 2004 Games, where she won gold and silver.

A record-breaking swimming career

Later in 2004, Brooke made history at the World Short Course Championships. She won a record six gold medals: five individual titles plus the 4x100m medley relay in world record time. She was later awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

After swimming, Brooke built a second career in media. She presented on the Logie-winning television show “What’s Good For You” and earned a Logie nomination for Best New Female Talent. She is also a TEDx speaker and an energy health trainer.

What audiences take away

Brooke’s keynotes cover energy management, mindfulness and motivation. She draws on her own story of setbacks, persistence and finally reaching the top. As a result, audiences learn how to find purpose after disappointment and keep going when the goal seems out of reach. They leave with practical tools for self-belief, accountability and sustaining energy under pressure.

Her warm, energetic stage presence has made her a favourite at thousands of events across Australia. She also works as an MC and host, so she can carry a whole program as well as deliver a keynote. With LA 2028 and Brisbane 2032 ahead, her Olympic story resonates with audiences in Australia and around the world.

Beyond the pool

Brooke is an ambassador for the Starlight Children’s Foundation and Life’s Little Treasures Foundation. Her autobiography, “When Silver Is Gold: The Brooke Hanson Story”, was published in 2009, and sales continue to support the causes she cares about. She lives on the Gold Coast with her family.
