Raha Moharrak

Raha has always been the curious one, the kid who asked too many questions, dreamed of faraway places, and believed that adventure was out there waiting. Luckily, she grew up with parents who never asked her to tone it down. They taught her to dream big, live even bigger, and trust that she could shape her own story.

After graduating with a degree in Visual Communications from the American University of Sharjah, she kicked off her career in advertising. But everything changed when she decided to climb Kilimanjaro. That trip didn’t just take her to the top of Africa, it completely shifted her life. It was the spark that lit a fire for climbing, pushing limits, and proving what’s possible.

One summit led to another, eight, actually. But the mountain that really called to her was Everest.

A year after setting her sights she made it to the top, and in doing so, made history as the first Saudi woman to summit Mount Everest on May 18, 2013.

Since then, Raha’s become a storyteller, a speaker, and a role model. She shares her journey to show that no matter where you’re from or what the world expects of you, you can do incredible things if you stay curious, confident, and true to yourself.

She’s spoken on stages across the region, appeared on TV and radio, and been featured in major publications. Whether she’s speaking in English or Arabic.

Raha’s goal is simple: to inspire others to chase the impossible.
